Amidol as a film developer
Amidol is well known as a print developer. In fact, I use it myself. But it is also a film developer, as this article from The American Annual of Photography published in 1938.
Natural Abstractions – a different view of our world
One of the definitions of art is finding the order within the chaos of the natural world. I find the order as abstractions – the deeper meaning. The photographs find more than realistic renditions.
All prints are nominal 8×10 silver gelatin prints and gold-toned for permanence and color.
Seal 210M press
I dry mount my photographs using a Seal 210M dry mount press. I got mine used, and the good folks at Elmer’s, who make the press, were kind enough to email me a .pdf of the manual. I’ve had several people ask me for copies, so I am posting the manual here.
