Tides Preserve is located along the Intracoastal Waterway in Atlantic Beach.  It is an intricate marsh ecosystem teaming with wildlife - even within a city.

It offers fascinating views of marsh and the various types of trees native to northeast Florida. It oalso offers a hiking trail and nature trail, and, as you can see, a place to rest and have a picnic.

For the technical minded - this was shot with an Orbit C-1 8x10 view camera using a 100-year old triple convertible Rapid Rectilinear lens, on Kodak TMX film, developed in Pyrocat PC and printed on hand made albumen paper.
