 Driftwood Knobs, Big Talbot Island

 080001

Big Talbot Island is a Florida state park located on a barrier island on the very northern end of Jacksonville, Florida.  Erosion of the bluffs has caused a large number of trees to fall onto the beach where they are variously covered and uncovered by water and sand.

The driftwood on the beach is ever changing - no two days are alike.  The photographic possibilities are endless.

Driftwood Knobs, Big Talbot Island is an albumen print - the actual print may vary from what you see on your screen.  Please see the article on albumen printing - just what it is and how the prints vary.  The print is a nominal 8x10 contact print.

Please include the print number 080001 in your order.

For the technical minded - this was shot with an Orbit C-1 8x10 view camera using a 100-year old triple convertible Rapid Rectilinear lens, on Kodak TMX film, developed in Pyrocat PC and printed on hand made albumen paper.
