Ansco 90 High Contrast M-H Tray Film Developer

FormulasThis developer has been particularly designed for use with Commercial and Process films to produce negatives of brilliant contrast.

 

Hot Water (125F or 52C) 750 ml
Metol 5 g
Sodium Sulfite, anhydrous 40 g
Hydroquinone 6 g
Sodium Carbonate, monohydrated 40 g
Potassium Bromide 5 g
Water to make 1 L

 

Do not dilute for use. Normal developing time, 4 to 6 minutes at 68F (20C).

 

From Ansco Formulas for Black and White Film by GAF, 1948 – Formulas are provided for historical reference. They may not work well with modern films and papers. Some of the chemicals can be dangerous. As with all photographic processes, be careful.
