Motivated by completing a thru-hike of the 2,650 mile Pacific Crest Trail at age 65, Michael draws from his often adventuresome life experiences to convey a motivational message to encourage others to tap into their desire, determination and dedication in order to realize their dreams and get the most out of life. Intermingled with autobiographical sketches, Michael conveys the more practical aspects of working to achieve goals by overcoming fear, mitigating risk, being open to unfamiliar experiences and by taking a step-by-step approach to fulfilling lifelong ambitions.
